The Requirement
Siemens Enterprise Communications provides customers its OpenStage landline phones, high definition user devices for traditional TDM networks or IP environments.
The OpenStage device family is an extensive array of devices that provides major functionality for companies with high communication needs. The range of possibilities that such complicated phones provide might make it a challenge for users to maintain an overview, despite the user-friendly features. Lesser used functionality might be more easily forgot and harder to call up on demand. The result is an often time-consuming research that might make users impatient and lead to abandoning the functionality entirely.
Lösung
The Solution
Siemens Enterprise Communications developed a Quick Reference Card for the purpose, providing users an overview of key features of the phone.
Siemens also concurrently created a video tutorial based on the same need. Robert Arandjelovic, product marketing manager for the OpenStage Series, agreed to demonstrate the handling of individual sequences of OpenStage phone usage. Techcast considers it important in presenting tutorials to have customer employees familiar with and identified with the product. The result is a more authentic and less marketing-oriented presentation. The viewer can thus better appreciate the product or service and the team that stands behind it.
With the OpenStage Tutorials we again took care to have the clearest possible image language without optical distractions. The latest camera and editing technology proved our competence in handling this solution. The result was precise video tutorials, no frills, but with a lasting effect.
